Grand alpine adventures
Surrounded by some of the most breathtaking peaks in the world, we walk through meadows, beech and pine woods, along easy ridges and occasional summit plains. In this little-known and unspoiled National Park well-made mountain tracks lead us to hidden villages where we discover the best of alpine Italy and its traditional cuisine.

Arrival day

We arrive at our mountain village hotel on a side of a stunning alpine lake in time for introductions and a stroll.

Chamois, mountains and marmots

Driving high into the Alps for an adventure on the breathtaking alpine plateau we watch chamois, wild goat, golden eagles and marmots with crystal-clear alpine lakes and high waterfalls as a backdop.

Woodland walks and bygone days

Along ancient tracks we walk across magnificent high meadows and woodlands, down to a great valley where abandoned mountain villages show us the meloncholy evidence of their long-gone people.

Free day

An opportunity to visit to the castle of Aglie' and its beautiful gardens.

Glacial plains and mountain refuges

We go higher still to experience a plateau created by the melting of a giant glacier. After lunch beside a mountain refuge we walk by alpine lakes below high peaks with superb views in every direction.

Hunting paths and cheesemakers

A relaxing day walking the Royal Path, built for in 1860 for the king to hunt chamois, lynx and wolf. Later, a chance to assist in traditional cheesemaking!

The panoramic picturesque

Along a beautiful, panoramic trail to Lake Bellagarda, along an ancient clifftop track with grand views all the way.

Departure day

After an early breakfast we transfer to Turin airport.
