Arrival day

We arrive at our hotel and explore the pretty village of Zuheros.

Morning songs

We spend the mornings singing in the choral tradition in the village. We sing again before dinner.

Afternoons walking

These holidays are aimed at those who enjoy walking as well as singing. After a picnic lunch, we offer the option of an easy walk of 3-5 miles in the Subbética Natural Park with birdsong and majestic Griffon vultures. Clive Jarman, an original founder of Authentic Adventures, now lives in the village and will guide you round the hills of this beautiful park.

Sightseeing

Morning visit to the Baroque town of Priego de Córdoba, with its winding streets in the Jewish quarter or a visit to a historic working olive oil mill. We sing as a choir in the afternoon.

Free day – an optional excursion

A great chance to visit the Moorish city of Córdoba with its magnificent mosque near the fascinating Jewish quarter. For those who enjoy city life there are many stylish shops and a vibrant café culture.

Departure day

We depart for Málaga airport.

Impromptu magical moments

Our local guides make sure we hear of local events and share in the community celebrations. In recent times our guests have followed processions as flamenco music and dance fills the streets.
