Slide show with 6 images
Step on to the dreamy shores of Ischia, where we sing with a hilltop choir, indulge in regional produce, and harmonise in superlative surroundings, including La Mortella, celebrated home of the composer William Walton.
Day 1 - Arrival day
Upon arrival in Naples this afternoon we board a local ferry and cross the gulf to Ischia. Tonight we unwind as a group over dinner and drinks.
Day 2 – A harmonious start
We begin our first full day in song, with an introductory group session. Following lunch we enter the luscious Giardini Ravino, a botanical blend of fruit trees, hanging vines, and exuberant flowers.
Day 3 – Symbols of Ischia
Our destination this morning is the Torre di Michelangelo, a towering Medieval structure which rises from the cliffs. This afternoon we visit the stunning Castello Aragonese, an island monument accessible via a long stone bridge.
Day 4 – The music of La Mortella
The gardens of La Mortella take centre stage this morning. La Mortella is a renowned music venue, thanks to its open-air Theatre. We will use this opportunity to sing under the cerulean sky. The rest of the day is ours to explore.
Day 5 – A hilltop choir
Forio is Ischia’s second largest town. After touring its streets together, we pause for lunch and a local wine tasting. From here we continue to the hilltop village of Fontana, for a special singing session with a friendly Ischian choir. Bellissimo!
Day 6 – Tasting the island
We tuck into a cookery class this morning, for a chance to taste some mouthwatering cuisine. Following a free afternoon we come together for some pre-dinner singing. The perfect way to mark our final night.
Day 7 – Departure day
We return to the mainland by ferry in time for our flight home.

This 17-square-mile volcanic island in the Gulf of Naples is known for its thermal waters and hot springs. Visiting this part of Italy in May is a real treat because the hordes of tourists tend not to arrive until the mid-summer months. The island is home to many pine trees and Mediterranean vegetation, as well as numerous vineyards.
The landscape is flat and there are good paths for those that want to explore. Beaches and pavements.
