Bluebells and Beeches
We take our time on a gentle, circular walk through quiet and tranquil settings, working slowly on a series of pictures with patterns, textures, shapes and colour to depict the canopy of beech trees and their supporting cast of wild garlic, bluebells and ferns. There will be opportunities to work in close-up detail, but also to discover how trees are best depicted in photographs, how to use soft light and shadows and how best to compose an image. The aim of this workshop is to help you understand your digital SLR camera and lenses, how to use a variety of techniques and exposure settings, working with filters, fill in flash and a tripod, so that you can return home with some pleasing and memorable pictures. Typical programme9:30 - Day starts
