This year we are excited to offer five new fabulous photographic locations – Iceland, India, Santorini, Lanzarote and Scotland. Tutoring these holidays are seven of the leading photographers in their fields including our latest team members – Guy Edwardes and Leigh Preston. The locationsThis year, in addition to the Alpujarras, Grazalema, Tuscany, Cotswolds and Morocco, we have added Iceland, India, Santorini, Lanzarote and Scotland. In our often take you to unusual locations. Morocco Kasbahs of the South tour, we have added an enchanting night in the desert. This further increases the breadth of subjects and the diversity of locations and culture for you to experience. The relaxed itineraries will blend large landscapes with intimate detail, and each location provides indoor facilities for reviewing your digital pictures. We use air-conditioned transport to take us to our daily locations. As usual, all activities are optional and our hotels are ideal places to relax.
What you need to bringLocations can be steep so you will need to be reasonably fit and we recommend that you don't carry too much gear. You'll need a camera that gives control over shutter speed and aperture and ideally, a tripod. We send a suggested equipment list with your booking confirmation, but if you have any queries we can put you in touch with your tutor. Group sizeGroups are typically between 8 and 14 and therefore have little impact on the locals and their environment. Your aspirations matterBefore departure your tutor will contact you to ensure that we are fully aware of your hopes, aspirations and any concerns you may have. What's new Friends & partners We often have walking or painting holidays running at the same time.How the holidays work Because we know guests enjoy soaking up the sights and sounds of our unique locations, we have tailored our holidays accordingly. Each day we have morning and evening outings, and while each day is structured, we will adapt the days to make the most of local events and light conditions.Personal attentionThere will be time set aside for group tutorials and also for one-to-one advisory sessions with your tutor.Our tutors will advise you on what to expect in the location and also use slide shows to demonstrate both their work and their approach to photography. Photography workshops For those wanting to get started in photography or perhaps wanting to try out our tutors and our company for the first time, we are offering day workshops in various UK locations with several specific themes including industrial heritage, our coastline and birds of prey.Experienced photographers We often accommodate those wishing to enjoy our organisation and the company of others, but who prefer to operate independently of our tutors.Photography holiday destinations
