Watercolours and water meadows
Some of our daysArrival dayWe arrive in time for afternoon tea and an introduction to the days ahead. Around the HotelOur first day is spent in the vicinity of the hotel, establishing individuals' styles with demonstrations and private tutorials. Castle CombeThis is one of the finest of Cotswold villages and we are privileged to have the use and welcome of Weaver's Cottage, where we paint and enjoy refreshments in the privacy of its secluded garden. Water, willows and WaldorfThe gardens of Ruskin Mill College fall down the valley in a cascade of ponds. A place of reflections, picturesque bridges and a wealth of wildlife. Frampton on SevernOn the longest village green in the country, we spend the day beside duck ponds reflecting on a variety of timeless images of everyday village life. Departure dayWith its very pretty church and classic Cotswold farm buildings, Nympsfield is a perfect final-day location. We depart after tea.
