The warmth of both the climate and the local people, along with the gentle rhythms of a more relaxed pace of life, make Spain the ideal destination for artists - and the ideal venue for painting holidays.

The diversity of Spain in terms of landscape, history, culture, architecture and flora spoils us for choice in terms of subject matter. Even within the same region, there can be rich contrasts.

We offer painting holidays in three mainland areas of Andalucia - each of which offers something unique - as well two Spanish islands. From the shimmering white villages and extraordinary flora of Grazalema to the drama of the Alpujarras and the island beauty of Lanzarote or Menorca, each trip offers its own distinctive images and memories.

After years of running art holidays in Spain, we know the best locations and the optimum time of day to capture them. That means that you can relax, get truly absorbed in the subject matter – and paint!

All our tutors are chosen for their professionalism and experience in teaching different media, including watercolour, pastel, acrylic, oils, mixed media and drawing. They are extremely committed and friendly and want the best for everyone. They teach for a total of 6-8 hours per day, although you are of course free to take as many breaks as you wish.
