To assist you, here are some tips for travel insurance
DO buy your travel insurance when you book your holiday
DO ensure you disclose all pre-existing medical conditions for
yourself and all dependants
DO check the level of cover when comparing cost as low-cost insurance
can mean "low cover"
DO take an EHIC [European Health Insurance Card] which entitles
you to reduced cost medical treatment
DO NOT rely on credit card insurance cover alone
There's only one thing worse than having to make an insurance claim – and that's
not being able to claim because you were not adequately insured.
It is a condition of booking our holidays that you are adequately covered for medical
and personal accident insurance. We strongly recommend that you and all members
of your party are insured as soon as you book your holiday as this will ensure the
protection of your deposit in the event of your needing to cancel a holiday booking.
Should you become unwell during your holiday, travel insurance protects you financially
and ensures the quality of overseas medical care is of a standard you would expect.
It also covers emergency repatriation, should it be deemed necessary.
