Meet our tour managers

Simon Harding

Simon Harding

Simon, a fluent Spanish speaker, has lived in Southern Spain for over twenty five years, and will be supporting our Choral Singing holiday in Malaga. He has lived in the city for the past seven years from where he teaches a language course and runs cultural tours of Andalucia.

We've built our reputation largely on the quality of our guides – so you'll be pleased to know that as we go forward with Authentic Adventures in new places, the line-up of local guides is stronger than ever.
The best tour managers are few and far between. They must have a deep knowledge about the region they represent, be well organised, know how to make sure transport is timely & reliable and ensure hotels provide superb menus to suit all our clients' tastes.
Additionally, they must love what they do, must care deeply about the people they look after and be eager to share with them the magic and beauty of the places where they live.
Maslinka Kempf Pamic

Maslinka Kempf Pamic

Maslinka studied Tourism in Pula and has been a Tour Guide in Istria since 2003. She speaks fluent English and German and loves hiking and singing in a local choir. She is an experienced guide with a kind and helpful nature.

Adina Camara

With a degree in tourism, Adina had been walking around Romania since she can remember. She loves the country villages and the way people live in harmony with their cultural heritage and nature and is keen to contribute to their preservation. She is amusing, compassionate, fluent in English and loves to share her country with others.

Vinayak Koul

Vinayak Koul

Vinayak combines an academic background with a love of guiding and sharing India with others. He has travelled extensively in India and Europe, climbed 6000 meter peaks in the Himalayas and, with its rich heritage, considers Rajasthan to be the real Jewel in the Crown of India.

It's our guides who carry the keys to the doorways into the new worlds which make our activity holidays thrilling adventures into other cultures.
Aminesh Chamakala

Aminesh Chamakala

Aminesh's kind and courteous ways won over our hearts when we first met him in his home town of Cochin in Kerala. He works for a local travel company as driver, guide and general fixer. Always willing to go that extra mile to accommodate requests from our guests, he is a true professional and has recently established his own transport company.

Riccardo Giordano

Riccardo Giordano

Riccardo is a true adventurer. His love and knowledge of the wild developed from an early age. For the past 10 years he has led walking trips throughout Italy and in many African countries. A keen canoeist and kayak instructor, Riccardo alternates his passion for walking with paddling in the rivers and lakes of Italy.

Abdel Ali Ibnoua

Abdel Ali Ibnoua

For Ali there is no better combination than to share his enthusiasm and knowledge while travelling the sands, mountains and coasts of his beloved Morocco with visitors from all over the world. He is married to Alice Barnsdale (a former Authentic Adventures guide) and has recently moved to England with his young family. We have worked with him for the past five years and he is very popular with our guests.

Stefano Spinetti

Stefano Spinetti

Stefano grew up in the mountains of Abruzzo in central Italy. With a degree in zoology and a good knowledge of archaeology, he has over 20 years experience as a mountain leader. His explorer's spirit has taken him to every continent. He loves to share his country's culture, history and natural places with our guests.

Marianna Polverino

Marianna grew up in Ischia, a beautiful green island in the Gulf of Naples. With a degree in ecotourism, she likes walking through vineyards, tasting good food and diving in the thermal pools that are well known on the island. She is passionate about protecting the culture and traditions of the island through events and management of the island paths. She has such a cheerful attitude and will help you to discover the real soul of her island – a place that is full of colours, aromas, folklore, breathtaking views and much more.
