Maggie began her working life in public relations before joining a local watercolour
class, when her children were small. It wasn't long before she realised that painting
was all she wanted to do. She financed her way through art college by teaching and
now lives with her family in the far West of Cornwall, where she paints full time.
Her atmospheric paintings of Cornwall and the Scilly Isles are shown in galleries
in London and the South West. She works in all media and also loves drawing.
Maggie is an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher who uses demonstrations and one-to-one
tuition to help her students gain confidence and develop as individuals. She is
caring and encouraging and believes having fun is the key to creativity...
