Jeni studied Illustration at Harrow College of Art. On a family holiday in the mid
'70's she fell in love with Malta and a local jazz musician and has lived and painted
there since.
Her works cover a wide range of both subject matter and media believing that the
constant new challenges keeps her work fresh.
Well known as an exhibiting artist in Malta, she is currently focused on capturing
the passion of the musicians at the annual Jazz festival. She believes that figures
add life and interest to paintings.
Capturing movement is quite a challenge, but during a holiday with Jeni you will
learn some of these techniques and the way to apply them to your compositions.
Jeni has taught students of varying abilities for many years, gently helping them
all to find their own 'way'.
Favourite mottos are "It's only a piece of paper… why be afraid?" and "First
learn the rules… then break them!"
