After 25 years as a freelance illustrator Brian changed course into the world of
fine art.
A move to Eastbourne to run a successful residential painting school for 12 years
was followed, in 2006, by another move to the idyllic island of Menorca to continue
the adventure.
His work has been exhibited at the Mall Gallery and produced as open and limited
prints in Europe and the USA.
He has written articles for Leisure Painter, Artist & Illustrator
and Paint magazines.
When teaching he loves to help other artists fulfil their potential: "offering an
alternative perspective gives the painter options, not always used immediately but
absorbed for the future – mood, light and atmosphere are the elements we all "
