The Scottish Highlands

The Highlands in autumn are a beautiful and haunting place, and we've chosen twin centres in Glencoe and Pitlochry to ensure you make the most of it on these first Scottish holidays from Authentic Adventures. From our two bases we're spoiled for choice - exactly where we go each day will depend on you and your guide.

Misty mornings and mountain scenery, bleak moors and ancient forests, castles (both ruined and occupied), mighty salmon rivers, waterfalls, magnificent wildlife, and relics everywhere of the proud and bloody history of Scotland - all make for a taste of the Highlands at their beautiful and fascinating best.

Where we stay
Both our hotels in Pitlochry and Glencoe are spacious and very comfortable and while a little corporate for our style, they have good service and are ideally locate for landscapes with excellent facilities for slide shows and talks. All rooms are en-suite.
