Spain – passion, colour & energy
Whether you're visiting Spain for walking, painting or singing, it's the rich diversity of the country, with its culture, history and contrasting landscapes, that never ceases to fascinate. We visit the Spain the tourists don't see, and take you off the beaten track in very varied parts of the country. Explore the wild and beautiful country inland, in Moorish Andalucia, where clusters of whitewashed houses nestle in the arid landscapes of Southern Spain. Olive groves abound, peppered with wildflowers and cherry blossom in Spring, rolling hillsides and crystal clear streams.
The tiny island of La Gomera, off Tenerife offers a gloriously laid back, hippy feel and incredibly varied landscapes. Walking is a very popular activity here, through ancient forests of twisting laurel, palm and pine, to red soiled dunes of Las Rosas and white sandy beaches. Wildlife is abundant, and the welcome is warm.
Finally, we introduce Malaga to our locations in 2016 – one of the oldest cities in the world. It is home to over thirty five museums including the new Centre Pompidou, the world famous gallery, and the first branch outside France. It will add to the city’s already impressive range of art galleries that includes the Museo Picasso, Museo Carmen Thyssen and Centro de Arte Contemporaneo. It was, of course, once home to Pablo Picasso.
Spain is still a thrilling country to visit if you know where to go - and who with. John Brough, Managing Director, travelled extensively in Spain and founded the company over seventeen years ago with his first holidays running in Andalucia. Our contacts are as strong as ever, and we remain passionate about this incredible country.
