The Jewels of Jersey

Lying just off the French coast, but only a short hop from the UK, Jersey offers us the most wonderful of coastal locations, all with a slightly French twist. However, beyond the harbours, boats, lighthouses and sandy bays lies one of its best secrets – the quiet valleys and green lanes of the interior, home to cider orchards, historic houses and vineyards.

Not only does subject matter abound in a multitude of variety, but the great thing about it being a small island is that everywhere is close by and we can instantly choose the compass direction we wish to face –thus giving us control over dusk and dawn images and the chance to keep any wind at our backs.

Based in St Brelade's Bay we are fortunate to have subject matter aplenty on our doorstep for both our painters and photographers. Not only can we enjoy all of the hotels' facilities but it is located with many a photo opportunity on our doorstep. The hotel faces a beautiful white sand bay and there is a small jetty and an unusual church all within a few yards.
